Instead of presenting newcomers with pages of documentation, Yodeli Base Camp is being developed around progression.
A participant begins at Base Camp.
There, they encounter missions introducing concepts such as Yodeli, Web3 fundamentals and wallet safety.
Completing activities earns XP.
Certain lessons can reveal important Trail Rules, practical principles worth remembering as someone explores Web3.
Checkpoints can provide milestones before the expedition continues.
The idea is straightforward:
Learn something. Do something. Progress.
Education Should Include Safety
Web3 education shouldn’t begin with speculation.
It should begin with understanding.
One of the early Base Camp lessons, for example, focuses on one of cryptocurrency’s most important security principles:
Your recovery or seed phrase belongs to you, Always.
Someone who understands that principle before creating or funding a wallet is already better prepared for Web3 than someone who simply knows how to buy a token.
That’s the type of education we believe matters.
Progress People Can See
We’re also experimenting with XP and stages.
Rather than consuming disconnected pieces of information, participants can gradually progress through an expedition.

Future stages can introduce increasingly sophisticated concepts and experiences as knowledge develops.
The goal isn’t to turn education into a meaningless points game.
The goal is to give people a sense of progress.
Why We’re Testing Before Opening It Widely
Base Camp is currently being tested and refined.
That distinction matters.
We’re checking mission progression, XP calculations, checkpoints, unlock conditions and the overall user journey before inviting broader participation.
Testing has already helped identify areas requiring refinement, exactly what a testing phase should accomplish.
We would rather discover and correct those details now than rush an unfinished experience into the community.

This philosophy also connects with the direction we’re pursuing with NAP.

Yodeli explores usefulness through Web3 education, community and progression.
They are different experiences, but they share an underlying principle:
